Thane brother-sister duo to play international badminton tourney

THANE: Thane's Rohit and Sonal More have been selected to represent India at the 6th International Railway Badminton Championships to be held from June 30 to July 4 at Olomoue, Czech Republic.
Presently the duo is undergoing training at the Yen Sports Academy at Indoor Badminton Hall, Kalidas Stadium, Mulund with their coaches Rajeev Ganpule and Amrish Shinde.
This is the first time that Rohit is participating at the international scene, this year he represented Railways at the senior nationals and emerged runners up in the Men's Team Championships event and also it is the first time for Sonal More too who was Senior State Champion from Maharashtra to have played at the international scene.
The team will have to undergo a coaching camp of 15 days before leaving for Czech Republic.
